Our good friends Nitrozac and Snaggy over at the Joy of Tech have released a new comic detailing the complicated process that goes on behind the scenes as iTunes 8′s Genius compiles lists of recommended music based on your current music library.

You can barely confirm this by watching the Quicktime video of the Keynote posted on Apple.com, but this shot from Engadget’s Keynote coverage makes it clear: the Keynote’s demo iPhone has our friends at The Joy of Tech bookmarked on it.
I wonder if their recent Macworld Expo Celebrity Checklist had anything to do with it.

Nitrozac of The Joy of Tech fame, has painted and put up for auction a simply amazing 8″ x 10″ oil painting entitled “Fake Steve Jobs”.
It may be called “Fake Steve Jobs,” but this thing is too lifelike. At the time I hit “submit” on this post, the auction was at USD$523.00 after 6 bids with 3 days 8 hours left to go. Nitrozac has done many paintings and her work on The Joy of Tech is well known and respected, but this piece is, in my opinion, her best work.
