Image Tricks 2.2 update, more tricks from BeLight

BeLight Software releases Image Tricks 2.2, an update to its free image-editing and image-generating tool. New version adds more image filters and generators for creating original web-design elements, custom backgrounds, modifying photos, etc. Image effects got faster thanks to OpenGL acceleration. In addition, Image Tricks 2.2 delivers more work convenience due to the expanded workspace and extra settings added to image generators. Image Tricks is also available in Pro edition at cost of USD$9.95.

Apple posts Mac OS X 10.3.8 update

Release notes from Apple read: “The 10.3.8 Update delivers improved compatibility and reliability for Mac OS X v10.3 “Panther” and is recommended for all users.

Key updates include:

  • improved OpenGL technology and updated ATI and NVIDIA graphics drivers

  • improved file sharing and directory services for mixed Mac and PC networks
