Trendy Geek Offers Pod Shield for One Cent and Announces a new mini Pod Shield

Trendy Geek’s high static, film sleeve Pod Shield product protection outerwear is now available for Mini Apple iPods. Pod Shields for Apple’s Mini iPod help keep the player’s screen clean and scratch-free without concealing its coolness.

All Pod Shields are inexpensive and transparent. They are made of a thin material that clings to the iPod using high static. The film covers the mini iPod’s delicate screen perfectly. When the shields need replacing, there is no sticky glue or residue to remove — they simply peel off.

The MSRP for Mini Pod Shields is $12.99. Each Mini Pod Shield kit contains twelve screen protectors. The MSRP for Pod Shields Screen Only kit is $0.01. Each Pod Shields Screen Only kit contains three screen protectors and fits every iPod model made. All of these items are currently on sale from the www.TrendyGeek.com website.

Rat brains fly simulated aircraft on a Mac

This is just too weird not to post: Scientists in Florida have created a way to use jarred rat neurons to pilot a flight sim on their laboratory Mac. Using what I can only assume are specialized “mouse” drivers, the rat brain cells send control signals out through an array that measures their neural activity. These signals are then fed into the Mac to control the simulated F-22. The brain cells are encouraged to straighten up and fly right when they are positively stimulated from the Mac when they fly well.

GeekCulture unleashes the iProp!

You’ve outfitted your iPod, now outfit yourself! Take a gorgeous new iProp propeller beanie for a spin! Yes, the propeller beanie geniuses at GeekCulture.com are happy to announce a fun new must-have fashion accessory for the iPod, the iProp!
“Yes, we are still taking our medication,â€? said Snaggy of Geek Culture. “And contrary to rumors, our new beanie was not the result of a beanie birth defect or accident with bleach. When hoards of iPod users demanded a beanie that would compliment their iPods, we set out to deliver it to them! We’ve been developing the iProp at our semi-secret propeller beanie lab for several months now, and I’m happy to say we are thrilled with the results. The iProp is an incredible beanie, worthy of pairing up with the world’s greatest music player.”

The iProp is a gorgeous, high quality, soft rib knit cap, built with the care and attention to detail you’re accustomed to finding in other fine digital lifestyle products. It’s made of 100% acrylic (non-itching), and features lusciously-white “pearl” beads, and a heavy-duty propeller. It is available with or without a propeller, and you can wear it with the rim rolled up or rolled down!

Says Snaggy “We here at Geek Culture continue to define the perfect propeller beanie. Fashionably cool and incredibly hip, our caps aren’t like those goofy joke ones you’ll feel like a nerd wearing. These are the Macs of propeller caps, … quality beanies for seriously fashion-conscious geeks!”

“It’s the perfect fashion accessory for your iPod, …. your earbuds’ best friend!”

The iProp is now shipping and available for only $10.95, or just $18.95 with a propeller. Even cooler, you can double up the propellers, (that’s right.. dual prop-cessors!) for an extra $4.95!
