The Bird-Electron EZ-18B iPod touch speaker stand is made out of heavy duty steel and comes with a silicon pad that protects the iPod touch from scratches while also keeping it from sliding off the stand. It’s a plug-and-play stand with a built in speaker that holds the iPod touch at a 45 degree angle and looks like it means business.

Levi’s launches first iPod compatible jeans

Levi’s is launching their own wearable technology revolution with the introduction of new Levi’s RedWire DLX Jeans, available worldwide in fall 2006. Designed for both men and women, the jeans seamlessly integrate iPod plug and play technology giving music enthusiasts the most innovative and fashionable way to enjoy music on the go. The jean is designed to be compatible with most iPod systems and features include a special joystick incorporated into the jeans’ watch pocket to enable easy operation of the iPod.

Nicecast Version 1.8 Arrives – It Gets Easier Every Day

Version 1.8 of Rogue Amoeba’ Nicecast broadcasting application brings with it several major new features as well as many under-the-hood changes and bug fixes.

Nicecast 1.8 features easier setup for networks which require
reconfiguration to allow outside listeners as well as support for UPnP (Universal Plug-And-Play) and NAT-PMP (Network Address Translation Port Mapping Protocol) routers, which will automatically be configured as needed. The new version also brings broadcasters enhanced security and control, with the ability to kick listeners and password protect that stream. As
well, Nicecast will automatically block unwanted search engine robots from tuning in on OS X 10.4.

Nicecast 1.8 is available immediately for download and is a free update for all previously registered users. New users are encouraged to test Nicecast out and then purchase it, for just USD$40.
