QuarkXPress 6.5 Available Now; Upgrade Available to Version 6 Users at No Cost
Quark Inc. today announced the release of QuarkXPress 6.5, the newest version of the industry’s leading publishing software. According to the press release, version 6.5 “represents a shift in thinking at Quark by offering expanded power, versatility and the creative possibilities of QuarkXPress software, at no cost to current QuarkXPress 6 customers.” New, user requested features include image manipulation, variable data printing and native Photoshop file importing as well as increased stability and reliability.
The QuarkXPress 6.5 update is available now for download and is available at no charge to registered users of QuarkXPress 6. Customers can request that an upgrade CD-ROM be mailed to them by contacting customer service.
The PSD Import XTensions module and the updated version of QuarkXClusive will be available for download at no charge shortly after the release of QuarkXPress 6.5.
