358976482 214128c1a5 m Leaked Get A Mac ad really just a web adThere been a bit of buzz today about this “leaked” Get A Mac ad from Apple. The “Get A Mac” campaign has been very popular and has entertained even technopobes like my mother and it is easy to understand why people would get a bit excited about a “lost episode.”

This little gem depicts PC getting an upgrade from an IT guy who tapes a webcam to the PC’s head. While the PC boasts to the Mac of his ability to technological advancement, the IT guy jumps in an explains that iMacs and MacBooks come with webcams build in.

Far from the lost or forbidden Get A Mac ad the internet buzz has made it out to be, this ad has actually been published as a video ad on many prominent tech sites. See here a screen capture of the ad in place on a Wired page (refresh a few times, it will comes up). You will see it has the same “replay/watch all the ads/send to a friend” graphic at the end of the ad as shown in the “leaked” ad video.

RSS Replay v 1.2 simplifies adding RSS content to Dreamweaver webpage layouts

RNSoft President & CEO Ronald Northrip this morning announced the immediate availability of RSS Replay version 1.2, an update to the Dreamweaver extension for placing content from RSS feeds into webpage layouts.

RSS Replay uses AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) and where needed, ASP or PHP (depending on your website’s configuration), to collect RSS content from RSS feeds and applies formatting with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) that you can control to present that content in the way that best suits your needs.

This update solves many bugs and adds important features to simplify using RSS Replay.

Licenses for RSS Replay are sold in 3 ways: 5 Website Edition costs USD$39, the Unlimited Edition goes for USD$59 and the Single Website Edition is only USD$29,

New in version 1.2:

  • Placing multiple Replays on one layout is now simplified (autonaming is enabled)

  • Linking and maintaining links when moving RSS Replay files within the website has been improved
  • PHP Proxy no longer requires fopen access
