Code for a Cure– Mac Software Charity Auction
Seth Dillingham is auctioning a lot of Mac (and some Windows) software, on eBay. All of the proceeds are being donated to the Pan-Mass Challenge, for cancer research and treatment.
The software was all donated by the authors/companies that produce it. The list includes some of the best known applications on the Mac market today, like NetNewsWire, BBEdit, Delicious Library, games and utilities from Ambrosia Software, and lots of other apps. (Some decent Windows software, too.)
It’s all being sold in bundles, and the winning bidders will get all of their apps pre-registered in their name (or the name of whoever it’s being given to), on custom CD’s. Couldn’t be simpler!
The auctions are all listed here, and the complete background story is on Seth’s own site.
