Recently, ifoApplestore reported that Apple plans to color-code its Apple Store employees by having behind-the-bar Genius and Creative employees in dark blue T-shirts, Specialists in light blue, and Concierges in bright orange T-shirts. The shirts will be emblazoned with slogans like “I can talk about this stuff for hours”, “I know people” and “Some artists use brushes. I prefer boxes” This will help customers distinguish between the roles of the various employees to better and more easily find the help they need.
The problem comes when the store is also populated by customers wearing message T-shirts. How annoying would it be to visit an Apple Store wearing your favorite geek Tee only to be interrupted by questions from other customers mistaking your T-shirt as one of these new Apple Employee shirts. Not a happy Apple Store experience at all!
We have the solution in our new “I Don’t Work Here T-Shirt! Simply purchase this USD$19.90 shirt in one of the 15 colors available and you can safely visit your local Apple Store without fear of being disturbed by customer questions. The shirt clearly reads “Leave me alone, I don’t work here.” and should deter any unwanted intrusions into your Apple shopping day.
