The release includes the MacJournal Palm Conduit for the Missing Sync application, iWeb support, the ability to import a Stickies database, support for NetNewsWire, and numerous localizations and bug fixes.

MacJournal 4.1.2 is now available for download and requires Mac OS 10.3.5 or higher. Pricing is set at USD$34.95 for the download version.

flichtcheck 20070423 201339 Markzware ships FlightCheck v6Markzware has announced that FlightCheck v6 for Macintosh with support for QuarkXPress 7 and Adobe InDesign CS3. FlightCheck is the quality control program for the print and publishing industries that, since 1995, has contributed significantly to the verification of properly prepared digital content.

The new edition of FlightCheck offers a refined user interface for PDF preflighting, QuarkXPress 7 and Adobe InDesign CS3 support, support for third-party font applications, pre-configured collection folders and enhanced font and image searching.

Both FlightCheck Designer and FlightCheck Professional v6 for Macintosh are being shipped to dealers and partners immediately. Both upgrades are available free of charge for registered FlightCheck 5.8 users who purchased on or after February 1, 2007. The FlightCheck Professional upgrade from v5.x to 6 is USD$199. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price for Markzware FlightCheck Professional is USD$499.

eyetvappletv 20070418 213523 Free update gives EyeTV support for AppleTVElgato Systems has released EyeTV 2.4, a free update to its EyeTV 2 software which now includes one click export for Apple TV. The feature functions in the same way as EyeTV 2′s easy iPod export button; simply select a video from the list of recordings and click the new Apple TV button in the menu bar. Alternatively, the export can be automated as part of the recording schedule.

EyeTV 2.4 offers numerous other important improvements and bug fixes.
