Wires suck!! I hate wires, cords and cables. They are surely some kind of relative of the zoomorphized serpentine evil that tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden. Wires are bad. Given my hatred for the way these cables keep me tethered to my computer, it should come as no surprise that I am tempted by the RadTech BT500 Mini Mouse–a Bluetooth mini mouse!! Well, I am tempted no more for I have given in. Now read my review.

Visitors to Quark’s web site yesterday got a bit of a surprise. Quark has changed its logo, changed its web site and, well, that’s about it. Everything else is the same. Except that, as reported on MetaFilter, Quark’s new logo looks just like the one for The Scottish Arts Council.

In a pretty serious story about hunting down terrorist webmasters, Newsweek shows off a large screenshot of a terror website. The page is shown off in IE which isn’t too much of a surprise, but the big surprise is that it’s in OS 9! With the 5th version of OS X about ready to ship, Newsweek seriously needs an upgrade.
