IPodderX Site Goes Missing… For Now

Digital Bill from The Wizards of Technology sent us a heads up about a story they have posted. According to their report, visitors to iPodderX.com, home of the podcast client of the same name, are being greeted with a message from the developers, after being redirected to their parent site, Thunderstone Media.

As we told you a month ago, and as the Thunderstone Media site tells you now, the program and the site “are currently undergoing a name change for the application formerly known as iPodderX. Both the application itself and the online podcast directory are currently unavailable until the name change is complete.”

The story on the Wizards of Technology goes on to explain the affect this downtime will have for current iPodderX users, the reasons for the name change and when we can all expect to see the site and software (whatever they end up being called) up and around again.

And the folks at Thunderstone Media are asking for your help in renaming their groundbreaking application. Submit your best name idea to August and Ray and they’ll choose the best one from all of those submitted, and award a fine selection of prizes (with a value totaling in the neighborhood of $1500) to all of the top entries.
