MacZOT.com to sell 13 Mac apps for $13 on Friday the 13th, with a catch

maczot 20070412 203726 MacZOT.com to sell 13 Mac apps for $13 on Friday the 13th, with a catchIn an effort to dispell the unlucky myths surrounding Friday the 13th, MacZOT.com has announced that on this Friday the 13th, for 24 hours beginning at 12:00am PT, they will offer thirteen Mac applications for a total price of USD$13.00.

What’s the catch?

“Most people who hear about this will be unlucky (proof of the myth) because the offer will only be good for a total of thirteen minutes of the entire day,” says founder, Brian Ball. The few who are able to purchase the bundle will likely refute the myth, since getting a bundle of Mac software valued at over USD$300 is certainly not unlucky.
