The iPhone now comes in a new 16GB model for USD$499, joining the 8GB model for USD$399. iPod touch now comes in a 32GB model for USD$499, joining the 16GB model for USD$399 and the 8GB model for USD$299.

Markzware has released a preview of FlightCheck beta. FlightCheck 6′s new features include a refined interface, QuarkXPress 7 compatibility, support for third-party font applications, automatic font and image subfolder creation, enhanced font and image searching, and PDF preflighting.

The public beta of FlightCheck Professional v6 is available immediately and is preview software for use on a trial basis for a limited time. Markzware welcomes user feedback.

FlightCheck Designer and/or FlightCheck Professional v6 upgrades will be available free of charge if you have purchased FlightCheck 5.x on or after February 1, 2007. Markzware FlightCheck Professional will sell for USD$499, FlightCheck Designer for USD$199.

The FireWireVR is equipped with 2x SATA 3Gb/s hard drives and supports RAID 0 (SPAN), 1 (MIRROR), and JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks), and lists the control for different RAID settings on the external enclosure using a simple switch on the rear of the enclosure.

The FireWireVR is available in three capacities 500GB (USD$499), 1TB (USD$999) and 1.5TB (USD$1299) and are expected to be available in mid-late December 2006.
