The Time Capsule and AirPort Base Station (802.11n) Firmware 7.3.2 update requires that you already have AirPort Utility 5.3.2 installed (versions for Leopard, Tiger and Windows are available).

What does it do? Well, let’s see what Apple has to say…

The Time Capsule, AirPort Extreme and AirPort Express Base Station with 802.11n* Firmware 7.3.2 updates include bug fixes.

Hmm…bug fixes. That should take care of anyone who found the write ups on the other updates too exhaustive but it doesn’t ease my fears.

iPod Reset Utility 1.0.3

Use this iPod Reset Utility to restore the following iPod models back to their factory settings, when iTunes is unable to do so:

  • iPod shuffle (1st Generation)

  • iPod shuffle (2nd Generation)

The restore process completely erases all music and data on your iPod, and installs current iPod software on it, so you might want to back up whatever you’ve got on there.

additune 20070806 142747 Additune... it knows what rocks youCurrently in beta, Additune is a utility that looks at your iTunes listening habits and will recommend songs for you to listen to, either from your existing library or from Amazon or the iTunes Store.

You gotta figure the developer is both an Amazon and iTunes affiliate because the software is completely free and doesn’t run any banner ads. But, what the hey, the developers have a right to make a living. If you use Additune and enjoy it, don’t grudge the measly commission they developer makes off the purchases they helped recommend for you.
