The are three models that are priced between USD$500 and USD$1,000 and fold down to 10.5″ and come with an Element carry bag.

There are three different solar panels:

  • 19 watt model: recharges the Air in 14 hours, unfolds to 30.5 x 30 inches (USD$500)

  • 29 watt model: recharges the Air in 8 hours, unfolds to 41.5 x 30.5 inches (USD$600)
  • 58 watt model: recharges the Air in 5 hours, unfolds to 60 x 42 inches (USD$1,000)

All models require an upgraded MagSafe power adapter. QuickerTek can either modify the customer’s adapter for USD$25, or they also have a modified MagSafe power adapter available for USD$100.

The 19-inch VX1945wm and 22-inch VX2245wm blend ViewSonic’s LCD technology with new consumer entertainment and connectivity options to offer more ways to experience digital video, music and photos. The ViewDock Series incorporates an iPod docking station, four USB 2.0 ports, an 8-in-1 card reader, a microphone, stereo speakers and a subwoofer in an ultra-stylish silver and high gloss black widescreen display.
The estimated street prices are USD$329 for the VX1945wm and USD$449 for the VX2245wm. The ViewDock Series also features excellent front-of-screen performance, including ClearMotiv technology, ultra-fast 5ms response times and 700:1 (typ) contrast ratio to get the most out of fast action games, downloaded video content and full-length movies. Both displays have a wide, 16:10 aspect ratio with the VX2245wm featuring a 1680×1050 resolution and a 1440×900 resolution is available on the VX1945wm. In addition, 2×2.5-watt stereo speakers and a 1×3-watt subwoofer provide rich quality sound, while OptiSync technology supports rich visuals through multiple inputs, including direct DVI signals for optimum source-to-display synchronization and compatibility with a variety of video sources.
