My Dream App Semifinals, Voters Get Free Voice Candy

The ongoing Mac app idea competition, My Dream App, has entered its second to last round of public voting, and this time they have a group of Mac and tech media members offering judge commentary to help voters, including New York Times tech writer David Pogue, Digg founder Kevin Rose, This Week in Tech founder Leo Laporte, MacAddict editor-in-chief Rik Myslewski, and Macworld editors Jason Snell and Peter Cohen among others. Plus, everyone who votes gets a free copy of the excellent shareware app, Voice Candy.

There are 9 contestants that remain, and 3 will be eliminated this round. Who will stay? Pick your favorites and vote!

Note:

iTunes Movies and Skype Video

You shouldn’t have to look far for cool, fresh Mac freeware. While I take a week off, grab iTunes 7 (with a new interface, movie downloads and new features) and try Skype’s new 2.0 beta for Mac with video.

I’ll be back next week with some more Mac freeware. ‘Till then, happy downloading.
