Mactracker v3.0 Released

Mactracker v3.0 has been released. Among several database updates, v3.0 features a new interface, new model icons, a new search feature, and integration with Mactracker for iPod (OS X version only). This is a must-have app for anyone working in a field that requires detailed knowledge on past and present Macs.
What’s new in v3.0:

  • Adds latest Apple hardware

  • iApp-style user interface
  • Ability to search most of the database
  • Ability to attach files and Internet addresses to Resources tab
  • Adds 64 x 64 model icons
  • Adds Metric (SI) weight and dimension values

Unsanity updates FontCard to 1.2.1

Unsanity has made available FontCard 1.2.1. This update fixes Jaguar compatibility, changes font style listing to order by weight, and more.
New in Version 1.2.1

  • Fixes a problem that could cause FontCard to not load on Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar Version 10.2.8.

  • Font styles are now sorted by weight instead of alphabetically. It is more “natural” this way.
  • Font styles are also now sorted by the font format.
  • Moved logging around so it now logs at least the born on date if FC is disabled or expired but the user held down command and control while launching an application.
  • Fixed a crasher if you made a new Font set in Font Book, added fonts to it, and then tried to show a font set submenu in a FontCard enhanced font menu.
  • Made intial builds and rebuilds slightly faster by removing completely duplicate entries in the way fonts are stored internally.
  • Tries to ensure that the font style for the parent of a submenu is the regular style if available.
