Purchase Macworld Conference presentations online and on DVD-ROM

Soma Media and IDG World Expo today announced the release of MacworldEncore, the first suite of products enabling people to purchase Macworld Conference & Expo presentations online and on DVD-ROM.
The first MacworldEncore DVD-ROM set features more than 80 presentations from January’s Conference and Expo in San Francisco. Each presentation includes full-screen PowerPoint slides, live demos and synchronized audio, searchable speaker bios and abstracts, and iPod and iPod video compatibility. The MacworldEncore Online product features the same content and functionality, but further enables people to download presentations individually and immediately from the Web.

Both the DVD-ROM and the web versions are now available for purchase. For a limited time, MacworldEncore is offering a $5 coupon that can be used to download presentations online (Google Checkout coupon code: macworldencore$5off).

Jobs confirmed for “Stevenote” at Macworld San Francisco 2007

IDG World Expo today announced that Steve Jobs will, indeed, deliver the opening keynote address for Macworld Conference & Expo. Macworld will be held at San Francisco’s Moscone Convention Center January 8-12, 2006, and the keynote address will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. at Moscone West.

Macworld Conference & Expo expands

IDG World Expo today announced the addition of “The Macworld Digital Lifestyle Experience” to Macworld Conference & Expo 2007 at the Moscone Center, January 8 – 12, 2007. Each featured technology in the new Macworld Digital Lifestyle Experience will provide top-level education and hands-on demonstrations of how Mac OS X tools and related technologies can be used.

The attractions are part of an aggressive expansion to be showcased in Moscone’s North Hall along with new exhibits and educational features. Each of the featured experience areas will give attendees the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge products from the featured industries, and will provide information to help them enhance their skills and enjoyment of the latest technologies.

Members of Macworld’s world-renowned faculty will be on-hand to answer questions and provide expert demonstrations, tips and techniques in each of the showcased areas.

Macworld Digital Lifestyle Experiences planned for Macworld in the January 2007 event include the following:

  • The Macworld Digital Music & Sound Experience
