MacSpeech ScriptPak for iPhoto 5 tests the ”picture’s worth 1000 words” theory

Macintosh speech recognition authority MacSpeech has released a new ScriptPak for iPhoto 5. The new ScriptPak installs over 100 commands into iListen that allows the user to do virtually anything by voice in iPhoto that they would normally do using keyboard shortcuts or menus. This replaces the previous iPhoto ScriptPak, which was compatible with iPhoto 2.

“The ability to sort photos or control slideshows by voice brings a new dimension to iPhoto,” said MacSpeech Chief Evangelist Chuck Rogers. “This update to our popular iPhoto ScriptPak contains almost twice as many commands as its predecessor.”

The ScriptPak for iPhoto 5 is available immediately from the MacSpeech web site and sells for USD$15. iListen 1.6.5 or later is required to use the new ScriptPak. MacSpeech offers several iListen packages, including a software only solution for USD$99, and a software and headset with microphone for USD$149.
