Getting the Most from Thunderbird

Mozilla hatched a fine email client in Thunderbird, but some of its best features come by virtue of its extendability.

This week we’re taking a closer look at the email client, and outfitting it with better spell checking, Yahoo! and Hotmail support and more. Join me for another Freeloader Friday.

Note:

Map It

Get maps and driving directions from inside Address Book and Firefox with this week’s batch of fresh freebies.

I’ve got a load of freeware that will bring the power of Google, MapQuest and Yahoo! maps to your Mac, not to mention an online image search tool.

We’ll look at all this and more in this week’s Freeloader Friday.
